Macarthur Early Learning, in Elderslie is a well established and reputed centre in the area operating at maximum capacity. We require a full time/part time maternity leave position experienced early childhood teacher to join our team on a fixed term contract.

The successful applicant would meet the following Selection Criteria:

Essential Requirements

- ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Current Child Safety Training.
- Current Child Protection Training.
- Sound knowledge of early childhood development and educational practice.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality education and care.
- Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and evaluate an engaging educational program based on children's interests, strengths and individual needs.
- Observe and document children's learning and development.
- Build positive,



respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Support children's wellbeing, inclusion, social development and school readiness.
- Provide guidance and support to educators within the room.
- Maintain a secure, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure programming and practices align with the Early Years Learning Framework and relevant regulations and standards.
- Communicate professionally with families, educators and management.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development and reflective practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality and child safety requirements are upheld.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $95,398.00 per year
