About the Role An Early Intervention/Injury Advisor is a specialized administrative and analytical role within the Claims team. This position focuses primarily on the rapid assessment, triage and resolution of minor or lower-risk workers’ compensation claims, helping to maximize operational efficiency while maintaining a strong customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Claims Triage & Sorting: Review incoming minor claims to assess initial risk, ensuring claims meet data integrity requirements and specific regulatory timelines for prompt lodgment.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and monitor an active volume of Open/Pay/Close (O/P/C) minor claims from initial submission through to final resolution.
- Payment Administration: Raise and authorize claim payouts for valid, pre-approved invoices within delegated company limits.
- Escalation Management: Upgrade and transfer claims to specialized Case Managers where an injury or property damage matter proves to be more complex than initially assessed.
- Stakeholder Support: Communicate directly with customers, third parties and external service providers to obtain missing documentation, clarify invoice details and progress claims efficiently.

About You We are looking for someone who is motivated, organized, analytical and customer-focused, with the ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

You will ideally bring

- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Basic negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to assess information, identify issues and determine when matters require escalation.

- Strong administration and data entry capability, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar systems.
- Experience in customer service, administration or insurance will be beneficial. Previous insurance experience is beneficial but not essential.
- The ability to work within regulatory requirements, meet deadlines and manage multiple claims simultaneously.

This role provides an opportunity to build experience within the insurance and workers’ compensation workplace, with the position often providing an entry-to-mid level pathway into the insurance sector. You will work within a supportive team environment while developing your skills across claims administration, customer service, assessment and stakeholder management.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity and a great chance to develop your experience with us.
