4WD Supacentre is looking for a detail-focused Store Layout Drafter to create accurate technical drawings for new stores, refurbishments and visual merchandising projects.

n

This role is ideal for someone with strong drafting skills who enjoys transforming store-layout concepts into practical plans that can be clearly understood and successfully delivered by internal teams, shopfitters and contractors.

n

About the Role

n

Working closely with the National Space Planner, Store Design, Property, Visual Merchandising and Retail teams, you will produce detailed floor plans, fixture layouts, 3D visuals and technical documentation.

n

You will also maintain accurate store plans, coordinate display fixtures and signage, and help ensure each store layout is practical, compliant and consistent with our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Produce store floor plans, fixture layouts, 3D visuals and technical drawings.
n
- Prepare documentation for new store builds and refurbishments.
n
- Maintain and update store floor plans as changes occur.
n
- Translate store-layout concepts into accurate and practical drawings.
n
- Work with Store Design, Property, Retail and Visual Merchandising teams.
n
- Support the development of fixture specifications and store-design guidelines.
n
- Liaise with shopfitters, contractors and other external partners.
n
- Ensure drawings are clearly understood and executed correctly.
n
- Obtain quotes and coordinate orders for display fixtures and signage.
n




- Manage the rollout of approved fixtures and signage to stores.
n
- Complete standard drawing updates within required timeframes.
n
- Ensure documentation is accurate and ready for construction.
n

About You

n

You will be successful in this position if you have:

n

n
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
n
- Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
n
- An understanding of retail layouts and customer flow.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
n
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
n
- Confidence working with shopfitters, contractors and internal teams.
n
- Experience in retail design, store planning, shopfitting or interior drafting is highly regarded.
