Sydney NSW | Full-Time | Up to $50-$65 per hour + Super WorkConnex is recruiting three experienced, full-time electricians for established electrical contractors operating across Sydney.

Position 1: Service and Maintenance Electrician
This position involves general electrical service and maintenance work across various Sydney sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Lighting and power installations
- Switchboard maintenance and upgrades
- Attending scheduled and urgent service calls
- Completing service reports and job documentation
- Communicating professionally with clients and site representatives
Position 2: Statutory Maintenance Electrician
This position requires hands-on statutory and compliance maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency lighting testing and certification
- RCD testing
- Thermal imaging
- Electrical test and tag
- Compliance inspections and rectification work
- Identifying and reporting electrical defects
- Maintaining accurate testing and certification records
Position 3: Experienced Commercial Service Electrician
This position is suited to a self-sufficient electrician who can independently manage small service jobs from commencement through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial electrical maintenance
- Service and reactive maintenance
- Switchboard upgrades and replacements
- Metering alterations and smart-meter installations
- CT metering and consumer mains upgrades
- RCBO upgrades and compliance work
- Commercial fit-outs and tenancy alterations
- Lighting upgrades and power installations
- Electrical infrastructure upgrades
- After-hours shutdowns and changeovers
- Managing multiple jobs and liaising directly with clients
Experience working with Ausgrid, metering providers, builders, strata managers and facility managers will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work safely and independently
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Good organisational and job-management skills
- Full Australian working rights
A minimum of five years’ post-trade experience is preferred for the senior commercial service position.
