Electrical Capability Coordinator – ITS & Electrical

Gold Coast | 1-Year Contract | AO5 | 36.25 Hours/Week

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join a technical capability team in a role focused on training, competency and technical development across electrical, ITS and civil electrical disciplines.

This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional looking to move into a role focused on technical capability, training, coaching and workforce development.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinate technical training and competency activities that support safe electrical, ITS and civil electrical work
- Maintain training plans, competency records, learning resources and assessment evidence
- Support the delivery of civil electrical training, including knowledge transfer and practical learning
- Provide coaching, technical guidance and competency support to apprentices, trainees, electrical workers, project managers and supervisors
- Contribute to continuous improvement across training schedules, competency pathways, technical guidance and succession planning

What you'll need





- Electrical Mechanic with a current and valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence – essential
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Experience working within electrical construction, maintenance or civil electrical environments
- Experience delivering electrical safety training or supporting technical competency programs
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and quality requirements

Desirable

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a current equivalent qualification
- Qualifications or experience in workplace health and safety, auditing or incident investigation
- Experience conducting electrical safety and quality audits
- Experience supporting formal workplace investigations

Salary: AO5, with pay point dependent on experience and suitability

Hours: 7.25 hours per day | 36.25 hours per week

Gold Coast based – this is a non-negotiable requirement.
