NJ Electrical Services Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based electrical contracting company delivering commercial and industrial electrical solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and supervise electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, distribution and utilisation
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations and technical documentation
- Select and determine arrangement of circuits, transformers, switchboards, protection systems and cabling layouts
- Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, Australian Standards, codes and project specifications
- Plan and manage resources, materials and installation schedules for electrical works
- Conduct fault finding, system analysis and provide technical engineering solutions on site
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and regulatory requirements




- Liaise with project managers, electricians, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure project delivery
- Support project delivery across commercial fit-outs, industrial installations and switchboard upgrades

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Relevant industry experience in electrical engineering or contracting environment preferred
- Robust understanding of electrical systems, switchboards, and distribution networks
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of Simpro, GoundPlan and Autocad is must
