We’re looking for Graduate to Mid-Level Environmental Approval Consultants to join our Perth team and build a rewarding career in environmental impact assessment and approvals.
The opportunity
This is an opportunity to develop your career alongside experienced environmental approvals professionals and gain exposure to projects across a broad range of industries and environments.
You’ll work closely with members of our senior and management teams, developing your technical knowledge, project management capability and professional expertise. From day one, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, take ownership and contribute ideas.
As you progress, you’ll have opportunities to:
- Prepare and contribute to environmental assessments, approvals documentation and technical reports
- Develop your understanding of WA’s environmental regulatory framework
- Work directly with clients,
government agencies, technical specialists and other stakeholders
- Contribute to projects spanning resources, infrastructure and green energy
- Develop your project management and leadership skills
- Build strong skilled relationships across industry and government
- Identify practical ways to minimise environmental and social impacts and deliver better outcomes
We’ll give you the support and mentorship you need while providing the independence to grow into a confident environmental professional.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is curious, motivated and genuinely passionate about the environment.
You’ll ideally have
- A recognised degree in Environmental Science, Marine Science or a related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, high-quality technical reports
- An understanding of, or strong interest in, the WA environmental regulatory framework
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop your technical and professional skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and ownership
- A genuine commitment to achieving high environmental standards and helping clients deliver better environmental outcomes
