Gas Electrical Powerzone is expanding! While our head office is based on the Gold Coast, our Brisbane client base is booming - meaning we need a dedicated, locally-based Service Technician for Commercial Catering Equipment.

You will focus almost exclusively on Brisbane and its surrounding suburbs. Because we support our remote team fully, you get all the perks of an established business with total local autonomy. With a fully provisioned company van for local dispatch, field allowances, and our service coordinators grouping jobs locally to minimise time on the road, we can offer flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our diverse client base. This position will suit an Electrician or Experienced Appliance Technician who enjoys repairing equipment to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing:

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with a variety of commercial catering equipment, including ovens, dishwashers, fryers, and more.

- Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing on customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

- Providing exceptional customer service and developing solid relationships with clients.

- Maintaining detailed records of all service calls, parts used, and work completed.

- Continuously expanding your technical knowledge to stay up to date with industry developments.

What we're looking for:

- Relevant electrical trade qualification and/or extensive experience in repairing commercial appliances.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.





- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- A valid, clean Australian driver's licence.

- First Aid / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

- National Police History Check (or willingness to obtain).
