Their capabilities span the design and manufacture of electrical switchgear, control systems, junction boxes, and the development and maintenance of gas drainage systems. They also offer onsite electrical maintenance, instrument calibration, installations, and full project management services.
With a robust reputation across NSW and QLD, they are continuing to grow and now seeks a hands‑on Electrical Project Engineer to join their tight‑knit team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, technically complex projects from concept to commissioning.
YOUR NEW ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who thrives on end‑to‑end project ownership and wants to step into a role where technical capability, autonomy, and leadership are genuinely valued. You will take responsibility for managing and delivering electrical and gas management projects, working closely with the engineering and production teams, and clients to drive successful outcomes.
You will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle—leading design work, overseeing project execution, managing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless installation and commissioning.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to define scope, manage expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes
- Leading quality assurance processes, including technical documentation and drawing control
- Acting as job owner and project manager for electrical and gas equipment builds
- Developing technical documentation and production packs for workshop manufacture
- Overseeing commissioning and site installation activities, ensuring compliance, safety, and high‑quality delivery
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to continued business growth
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
- Demonstrated industry experience delivering electrical projects—ideally within heavy industrial, mining, or manufacturing environments
- Proficient with AutoCAD and confident creating and interpreting detailed electrical drawings
- Skilled in preparing technical documentation and working with clients, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams
- Comfortable working with M365 and ideally familiar with MRP/ERP platforms or project tools such as Smartsheet
- Organised, detail‑driven, and hands‑on—you’re someone who takes ownership and gets the job done
