Service Electrician - UPS Technician

Hydra Search is partnering with a leading WA-based critical power and energy solutions provider supporting Tier 1 mining, rail and industrial clients across Australia.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for experienced Service Electricians / UPS Technicians to join a high-performing team delivering installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding services on critical power infrastructure.

You'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of:

- UPS systems
- Battery chargers
- Critical power infrastructure
- Backup power and electrical systems

Key responsibilities include:

- Fault finding, testing and repairs
- Diagnosing complex electrical issues
- Commissioning and maintenance activities
- Preparing technical reports and recommendations




- Working directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards

Working Arrangements This role offers a diverse mix of work including:

- FIFO & DIDO shutdowns (2-14 day swings)
- Project-based site work
- Perth metro service work
- Workshop-based activities
- There is generally a consistent mix of local and away work available, providing flexibility to maximise earnings if desired.

What's On Offer

- OTE of approximately $160,000 - $250,000+
- Paid travel time for site mobilisation

About You We're keen to speak with Electricians who have experience in:

- UPS systems
- Backup power systems
- Critical power infrastructure
- Industrial electrical maintenance
- Mining, rail, utilities or heavy industry environments
- Previous experience with commissioning, fault finding and client-facing service work will be highly regarded.
