About the role

EQUALS Trades is looking for an Electrican to join our trade teaching team in South Australia. As a Trades Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering trade training to students in the field of electrical and electronics technology. This ongoing position may be suitable for people looking for full-time or contract work, and will involve both classroom and practical instruction in Adelaide.

What you'll be doing

- Deliver trade training programs in electrical subjects
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to support their learning
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with the wider training team to continuously improve course content and delivery
- Provide mentorship and support to students throughout their training

What we're looking for

- Experience in the electrical, technology, ICT, data and comms and /or security industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
- Ability to customise and deliver high-quality training programs
- Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate different learning styles
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications
- You must have (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (WWCC)




- TAE40122/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
