Sr. Employee Relations Lawyer| 3+ Month Secondment

Elevate Legal Talent has partnered with a top Global Law firm in identifying an experienced Employee Relations Lawyer for a 3+ month In House secondment role based in Melbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level lawyer who enjoys working across a variety of people-related matters in a collaborative and agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to provide practical legal support across a broad mix of employment and workplace relations matters, including:
- Assisting with employee relations issues, workplace disputes, grievances and related processes.
- Supporting workplace relations initiatives and industrial matters.
- Advising on employment law compliance obligations and process improvement projects.
- Assisting with investigations and other complex people-related matters.
- Preparing legal documentation, correspondence and briefing materials.
- Engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercially focused outcomes.
About You We are looking for an Australian-qualified lawyer with 4+ years' PAE and:
- Experience advising on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters.
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills along with experience in employment, workplace relations or labour law.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A pragmatic and solution-focused approach to legal advice.
- Experience working within government, regulated industries, or large organisations will be viewed favourably.
