Employment Consultant

(Internal Title: Employment Case Officer)

Location: Maitland

Full-time: $35.83 - $37.82 per hour

At Castle, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their employment goals. We're looking for an Employment Consultant to support and progress participants on their journey to sustainable employment through ongoing coaching, guidance, training, and practical support.

What You'll Do

- Support a case load of participants to overcome barriers and build confidence on their pathway to employment
- Help participants set and achieve meaningful employment goals
- Guide participants through the early stages of their employment journey and prepare them for success in the workplace
- Connect participants with training, skills development, and other supports that improve work readiness
- Assist participants with resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, job search activities, and other employment-related tasks aligned to their employment goals.
- Build positive relationships with employers, training providers, and community partners
- Maintain accurate participant records and meet program compliance requirements

What You'll Bring

- Experience in employment, community, disability, rehabilitation, or similar services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for helping people achieve their goals and reach their potential
- The ability to motivate, encourage, and support individuals through challenges
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and administration requirements

Essential Requirements





- Current Driver Licence
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in a related field
