Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our energy storage business development in Australia. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving project development from early engagement to contract signing. This role requires solid market knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-growing renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead front-end business development in the Australian energy storage market.

Proactively identify new business opportunities, including energy storage projects, partnerships with local stakeholders, and market expansion initiatives.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, policies, and the competitive landscape across energy storage, IPP, EPC, and equipment markets.

- Provide actionable insights to support company market strategy.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including IPPs, EPC contractors, local governments, and power grid companies.

- Drive project cooperation and achieve business targets.





- Manage the full project development process from opportunity identification, preliminary discussions, and solution alignment to contract negotiation and signing.

- Ensure smooth and timely project execution.

- Coordinate internal resources (technical, product, legal, etc.) to support client communication and project execution.

- Resolve issues arising during business development and project promotion.

Requirements

- Fluent in English with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the energy sector.

- Familiarity with Australian energy policies, power market regulations, and the energy storage value chain.

- Deep understanding of local market demand and project operation models.

- Proactive, market-sensitive, and robust problem-solving ability.

- Able to work independently under pressure, with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
