What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Contemporary clinical knowledge and Mental Health experience or a passion to learn and work with Mental Health patient groups.
- Willing to take instructions and guidance from other team members and a willingness to help and support others to contribute to the successful functioning of the team.
- Consistent delivery of a high level of services to patients, parents, caregivers and families, demonstrating rapport building skills, listening skills and empathy.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver quality nursing care, whilst working within a risk management framework and in accordance with qualified standards (eg. infection control, Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, and Codes & Competency Standards.




- Honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.
- High level of communication skills and ability to escalate issues to a Registered Nurse.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.

Mandatory Requirements

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
