The Enterprise Planning Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for owning the integrated forward view of the Bureau’s IT strategy, plans, asset lifecycle priorities, disaster recovery readiness and technology capacity needs. The role provides enterprise-level leadership to ensure compute, storage, network, cloud and platform demand is forecast, prioritised and aligned with business direction, financial planning and technology strategy. Working across delivery, operations, architecture, cyber security and business stakeholders, the role drives an integrated and risk-informed planning approach that addresses technical debt, lifecycle risks, resilience requirements and future service demand.
The position also provides authoritative advice to portfolio, investment, financial and risk governance forums to support informed decisions on technology planning and asset management.
Broadly This Role Has The Following Remit
- Leading IT planning and asset management: Own the integrated forward view of the IT Strategy and Plans,
IT asset planning, lifecycle risks, disaster recovery readiness and IT capacity needs.
- Capacity planning: Ensure future demand for compute, storage, network, cloud and platform services is forecast, planned, funded and aligned with business and IT asset plans.
- IT asset management planning: Coordinate the ICT asset planning process by ensuring the priorities of all asset management plans are complete, aligned to defined asset lifecycles, and address technical debt, disaster recovery gaps and platform constraints.
- Disaster recovery and resilience: Ensure the organisation has a planned, tested and funded approach to recovering critical IT services following disruption.
- Planning advice: Provide key advice into planning, portfolio, financial and risk governance forums related to decisions on IT planning and asset management.
