Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking multiple Casual Environmental Services Assistants to join our dedicated team. While your core focus will be cleaning and maintaining our facility to the highest standards, you are a vital part of our patient care network.

About the Role

- Maintain patient wards, bedrooms, bathrooms, and support areas to the highest clinical standards.
- Perform vacuuming, mopping, and operate specialized floor-cleaning machinery.
- Remove rubbish and medical waste safely and efficiently in line with hospital procedures.
- Operate floor cleaning machinery and equipment (full training provided)
- Strictly follow Infection Control, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and hospital protocols.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors.

About You:

- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (including mornings, afternoons, and nights) is essential.
- Ability to cover core shift patterns of 7:00-15:00 and 15:00- 23:00
- A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a solid grasp of infection control basics, allowing you to follow safety guidelines and instructions with precision.
