What you will be doing




- Running your own file load across property settlements, parenting matters, de facto disputes and divorce
- Advising on consent orders, financial disclosure and binding financial agreements
- Drafting affidavits, applications and correspondence that stand up in court
- Appearing at mediations, settlement conferences and directions hearings, with Counsel briefed on the bigger matters
- Building the client relationships and referral networks that become repeat work

What you will bring

- Admission to practise in Queensland with a current practising certificate
- 3+ years' post-admission experience with a genuine family law focus
- Confidence running matters under the Family Law Act with limited supervision
- Sharp drafting, sound judgment and transparent, human communication
- Empathy and resilience, because family law clients are people first
