MLB – ML Builders | Property Insurance Repairs with Purpose

Location: Albany WA (Hybid) - Office in Albany CBD.

Hours: Full-Time

From emergency make-safes through to fast-paced Building Repair works, ML Builders is a local trusted name in insurance building repairs. Fires, floods, storms or cyclones — if it's damaged, we step in and get it fixed.

With continued growth and increasing claim volumes, we are seeking an Estimator/Supervisor - known as a Building Manager to support our insurance operations, drive performance, and deliver a consistently high standard of service across all assigned claims.

?️ The Role: Building Manager

This role focuses on the end-to-end management of insurance repair claims, ensuring claims progress efficiently, compliantly and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend site and complete detailed inspections, assessments, scopes of work and quotes
- Manage claims from allocation through to completion
- Ensure compliance with insurer KPIs, service standards and timeframes
- Coordinate trades, scopes, works and scheduling to maintain momentum
- Provide clear, professional communication to insureds, insurers and stakeholders
- Monitor job progress, costs and outcomes to ensure quality delivery

✅ What You Bring

- Insurance industry building experience is considered an advantage but not essential.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Strong time and organisational management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence to make decisions and manage claims autonomously
- Strong technical building knowledge with a qualified Carpentry Trade background or Diploma in Construction preferred
