MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly respected membership-based organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to support the CEO on an immediate, short-term basis.
The Role
Working closely with the CEO, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring the smooth coordination of the CEO's office and key stakeholder activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level, confidential EA support to the CEO
- Complex diary and meeting management, including coordinating competing priorities
- Preparing meeting agendas, papers, briefings and correspondence
- Supporting Board and governance meetings, including minute taking and accurately recording decisions and actions
- Circulating meeting minutes and action points and following up outstanding actions
- Acting as a key point of contact for the CEO's office
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of reports and Board papers
- Assisting with events, conferences and key organisational meetings
- Managing confidential information with a high level of discretion and judgement
About You We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who is confident supporting a senior executive and comfortable working within a governance-focused environment.
You will ideally bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior EA / Executive Assistant role supporting a CEO, Executive or senior leadership team
- Strong Board and governance support experience, including minute taking and action tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong judgement and discretion when handling confidential information
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- Board support experience is essential for this position, particularly demonstrated experience taking accurate minutes and ensuring actions are clearly documented, circulated and followed up.
