Position Summary

n

CoastalRespiratory & Sleep is a specialist respiratory and sleep medicine practicewith clinics in Benowa, Tugun and Pimpama. We're looking for a respiratoryscientist to run lung function testing and home sleep study set-ups at ourBenowa clinic on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Lung function testing for patients referred by our physicians and external doctors
n
- Fitting and instructing patients for home sleep studies
n
- Reporting results and filing them to the patient's electronic record
n
- Daily calibration and quality control, and keeping equipment clean and infection-protected
n
- Sorting out equipment and software issues when they come up
n




- Keeping the lab stocked and handling the paperwork that goes with it
n
- Working closely with our physicians, reception team and patients, with confidentiality a given
n

Requirements

n

n
- Previous experience in respiratory or sleep testing is preferred
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Comfortable with computers and clinical software
n
- Warm with patients and able to put people at ease quickly
n
- Happy to adapt as the day changes
n

Salary and Benefits

- Hourly rate dependent on qualifications and experience
