Due to a significant increase in project work with our clients, JY Australia is seeking experienced engineering support professionals to join our growing team and contribute to complex Defence capability programs.

n

We are interested in candidates with expertise across one or both of the following areas:

n

n
- Integrated Logistics Support, engineering logistics, supportability or reliability analysis
n
- Configuration management, configuration analysis or technical data management
n

n

Opportunities may be available for experienced specialists and senior or lead-level practitioners.

About the opportunity

n

You will work as part of an integrated project environment, collaborating with engineering, project management, maintenance, supply, technical and commercial stakeholders.

n

Depending on your background, your work may involve:

n

n
- Developing and improving engineering support and logistics solutions across the capability lifecycle
n
- Undertaking reliability, maintainability, availability and supportability analysis
n
- Developing support plans, analytical models, technical reports and recommendations
n
- Supporting maintenance, supply, engineering and technical data activities
n
- Establishing and maintaining product configurations, technical baselines and configuration records
n
- Supporting engineering change, configuration control and status-accounting processes
n
- Planning and supporting configuration reviews and audits
n
- Managing engineering, product and project data within controlled systems
n
- Monitoring technical activities, risks, progress and performance
n
- Improving engineering processes,



governance, tools and supporting documentation
n
- Working with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teamsn
n
- Providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced personnel
n

n

What you will bring

n

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

n

n
- At least four years of relevant professional experience, with additional experience expected for senior or lead-level opportunities
n
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support, logistics support analysis, reliability engineering, configuration management or a related discipline
n
- An understanding of complex engineering systems and the relationship between design, maintenance, supply, support and technical data
n
- Experience working with technical documentation, product structures, engineering data or controlled baselines
n
- Familiarity with engineering management, configuration management, product lifecycle management or logistics analysis systems
n
- The ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical, well-supported solutions
n
- Strong written communication and technical reporting skills
n
- Confidence working with customers and multidisciplinary stakeholders
n
- The ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work with limited supervision
n




- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance
n

n

A degree in engineering, science, technology, mathematics, business or a related discipline is desirable. Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

n

- Defence acquisition or in-service support environments

- Complex electronic, communications, maritime or software-intensive systems
n
- Reliability, maintainability and availability analysis
n
- Maintenance requirements analysis and support-system development
n
- Configuration identification, engineering change control and configuration audits
n
- Engineering or product data management
n
- Formal training or certification in configuration management, systems engineering, logistics, reliability or project management
n
- Supporting estimates, tenders or solution-development activities
n
- Experience guiding or mentoring technical personnel
