Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Hemmant site, you will be completing scrap metal and e-waste collections, as well as working alongside the staff in the yard. The team is highly safety focused, and process driven and will ensure that you are supported.

What you will be doing:

n

n
- Pick up scrap metal bins
n
- Deliver to customers and back to the yard
n
- Operate heavy vehicles in a protected and efficient manner
n
- Collaborate with the Transport Allocator to complete deliveries across the region
n
- Loading the truck using overhead cranes
n
- Adhere to Australian rules and regulations regarding the operation of heavy vehicles
n
- Adhere to all WHS and Heavy Vehicle Transport regulations, policies and procedures
n

The working hours are between 6 am – 2 pm + regular overtime on weekdays.

n

Pay rate for this role is $40.51 per hour + super

n

What you will bring:

- Open HR truck licence is essential
n
- Dogging ticket and Forklift Licence, desirable (or willing to obtain)
n
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
n
- High energy, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn
n
- Scrap recycling, Manufacturing, or Construction industry experience ideally
n
- Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
n
