About the role:

n

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate with 5+ years' PQE to join the firm's Corporate & Commercial team in Sydney.

n

Your work will include:

n

n
- Advising on corporate structuring, governance and regulatory matters;
n
- Drafting complex legal advice, submissions and commercial documentation;
n
- Advising clients on regulatory approvals, concessions and compliance issues;
n
- Drafting and reviewing constitutions, governance documents and agreements;
n




- Advising on internal corporate and stakeholder disputes;
n
- Acting on mergers, restructures and other corporate transactions; and
n
- Managing matters and developing strong relationships with key clients.
n

The ideal candidate:

n

n
- 5+ years' PQE gained within corporate and/or commercial law;
n
- Strong experience in corporate advisory and commercial matters, with experience advising charities highly regarded;
n
- Excellent drafting and technical legal skills;
n
- Strong commercial judgement and client relationship skills;
n
- The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively; and
n
- At least a credit average from a well-respected university.
