Location: Lexie’s on The Beach & Crows Nest - Stockton

Position: Experienced Chef + Experienced Cook wanted for immediate start.

Part-time position x 2 available. Fulltime for right candidate

Come join the team at the iconic Lexie’s on the beach cafe with thr recent addition of the upstairs Crow’s Nest rooftop restaurant and bar with sweeping ocean views and laid-back coastal charm. Known for our handcrafted meals, curated wines and friendly team; we’re a popular spot for locals, travellers and private events.

What you’ll be doing

- Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes following established recipes and procedures
- Ensuring all meals are presented in an appealing and appetising manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory and ordering
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
- Assisting with menu planning and development
- Training and supervision of junior staff members.

What we’re looking for:




- Proven experience as a Chef or cook - minimum of 2 years
- Proficient in managing kitchen operations and workflow in busy paced commercial kitchen
- We value creativity in the kitchen and encourage input on specials, presentation and menu development
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
- Suited to candidates seeking part-time work or additional hours around other commitments

Pay: $54,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
