About the role

In-Depth Cleaners Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Environmental Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Launceston, TAS 7250, this role offers flexibility and the chance to work with a dedicated cleaning services company committed to delivering exceptional environmental cleaning solutions. As an Experienced Environmental Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the cleanliness and hygiene standards of various commercial and residential environments, contributing directly to the health and wellbeing of our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Performing comprehensive environmental cleaning tasks across residential, commercial and specialist facilities
- Utilising industry-standard cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products to achieve high standards of cleanliness
- Following detailed cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting thorough inspections of cleaned areas to verify work meets company standards and client expectations
- Managing time effectively to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities and reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to management
- Adhering to occupational health and safety requirements and best practices in all cleaning operations
- Communicating professionally with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and address any specific cleaning requirements

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a cleaner in commercial or residential environments, with a demonstrated track record of high-quality work
- Strong knowledge of environmentally responsible and sustainable cleaning practices and products
- Proficiency in using a range of cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaning machines and pressure washers
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your assigned areas whilst maintaining attention to detail




- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, bending and working at heights where required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach to client interactions
- Current knowledge of occupational health and safety standards relevant to cleaning services
- Flexibility to work variable hours as required by casual employment
- A current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance or willingness to obtain one is preferred
