About the role

This is a specialist tarp-welding role for the upcoming grain season. Your primary responsibility will be welding and repairing grain bunker tarps, while other team members manage the general preparation and construction of the bunkers. The position will commence around mid-October and continue for approximately two to three months, depending on seasonal requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Welding grain bunker tarps

- Producing strong, reliable seams and joins

- Repairing holes, tears and damaged sections

- Cutting and positioning tarp material as required

- Checking completed welds for strength and quality

- Operating and maintaining tarp-welding equipment

- Working safely and efficiently alongside the grain operations team

About you





- Be a proficient and experienced tarp welder

- Have previous experience within the grain industry

- Have experience working with grain bunker tarps

- Produce consistent, high-quality welding and repair work

- Be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work well within a team

- Be physically capable of undertaking outdoor, hands-on work

- Be available for the duration of the seasonal position

- Be willing to work flexible schedule when required during busy periods

- Hold a current driver's licence
