Requirements To Teach At TAFE
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or equivalent (Not completed? Still planning your new teaching career? We still want to hear from you!)
- Approved tertiary qualification in your vocational area (industry qualifications you would like to teach)
- Current industry knowledge and skills
Requirements to work with The Gordon:
- a current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
- a National Police Check
- permanent residency status in Australia or have a valid Work Visa
Salary Guide Casual Teacher L1 (AQF4) $87.45 (teaching) and $59.43 (non-teaching) per hour Casual Teacher L2 (AQF5) $90.88 (teaching) and $61.77 (non-teaching) per hour
Casual Teacher L3 (AQF6) $94.47 (teaching) and $64.18 (non-teaching) per hour
Teacher L1.1 to L1.3 (AQF4) $80,939 - $92,308 p.a. (pro rata)
Teacher L2.1 to L2.4 (AQF5) $93,650 - $103,998 p.a. (pro rata)
Teacher L3.1 to L3.5 (AQF6+) $107,302 - $123,284 p.a. (pro rata)
