Operations Management System (OMS)

6 Month Contract | National Rollout

Anywhere in Australia- NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, WA, TAS

• Seniority: Mid‑level individual contributor, reporting to Deployment Lead

• Location: National, field‑based, 1–3 deployments per month, hybrid work model

Provide on‑site support for current OMS deployments, troubleshooting issues and guiding drivers and staff through the transition.

The Company

Our client is a leading Australian utilities organisation, operating a national network of depots and fleet services. They are undertaking a major technology replacement to modernise job management, telematics and inspection processes across all branches.

The Role

You will be the hands‑on field resource ensuring smooth go‑live of the new OMS at branch sites, supporting drivers and staff during the critical early days.

- Travel to remote and urban branches to deliver hands‑on support immediately after OMS installation
- Assist drivers at shift start and throughout the day, resolving issues and answering practical questions




- Diagnose, fix or accurately document problems for escalation to specialist teams
- Conduct driver debriefs, gather feedback and feed improvement ideas back to the programme team
- Attend daily stand‑ups and provide clear updates on issues, progress and risks

What You'll Bring

- Valid full Australian drivers licence and willingness to travel extensively
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with drivers, supervisors and technical teams
- Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and raise detailed escalation tickets
- Organised, reliable and able to work early‑shift hours in physically demanding environments
- Bonus: Experience in waste‑management operations or exposure to telematics, ERP or CRM systems
