Make your mark at BildGroup: You will be the person site supervisors call when plant goes down. Based at Campbellfield, this permanent full-time role puts you out on civil and infrastructure project sites across the region, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and getting equipment back into service safely and quickly. You will carry a rotating on-call roster and occasionally stay away from home, backed by a fully equipped field service vehicle and everything you need to do the job properly.

What you will be doing

Responding to breakdowns and call-outs across project sites, diagnosing and repairing plant, heavy vehicles, and equipment to get them back in service safely

Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance in the field in line with OEM standards and maintenance schedules

Running advanced onsite diagnostics using mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic tools, and escalating systemic issues to the Workshop Lead

Briefing operators on pre-start checks, correct equipment operation, and early fault identification to reduce preventable downtime

Completing accurate work records in the maintenance system - parts, time, and follow-up actions - and maintaining your field service vehicle and stock at all times

What you will need





Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical Fitting (or equivalent)

Heavy Vehicle Technician accreditation (or equivalent)

Demonstrated experience maintaining heavy vehicles or plant equipment

Current, relevant driver's licence

Sound communication skills and a professional approach to working with operators, supervisors, and project managers onsite
