Finance Business Partner | Workday | Perth

I'm a specialist finance recruiter in Perth, and I'm working with an organisation on Workday that needs a Finance Business Partner.

This is a proper commercial role — not back-office number-crunching. You'd close the month accurately, then explain what the result actually means and what to do about it. And because they're on Workday, they want someone who can get the most out of the system rather than fight it.

What you'd be doing

- Partner with budget owners across the business, not just report to them
- Deliver month-end close, reporting and variance analysis in Workday Financials
- Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts in Workday Adaptive Planning
- Build and maintain the reports and dashboards leaders actually use
- Turn the numbers into explicit advice on risks, opportunities and trade-offs
- Support planning cycles, business cases and investment decisions
- Help lift financial discipline and the quality of decisions across the business

What they're looking for

- CA or CPA qualified,



or well progressed
- Three or more years in commercial or management accounting, FP&A; or business partnering
- Hands-on Workday Financials and/or Adaptive Planning (essential)
- Strong Excel and confident with reporting and analysis
- Able to explain a result plainly to people who don't work in finance
- Comfortable working across a complex organisation to get answers
