This is a wide-ranging role with a strong payroll focus, ensuring our employees are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with legislative requirements. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation and play a key role in supporting our upcoming payroll and HR platform migration.
Key responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing and administration.
- Payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance activities.
- Managing payroll enquiries and supporting employees.
- Maintaining payroll records and employee data.
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
- Assisting with payroll system implementation, testing and process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the transition from MYOB to Employment Hero.
About you
- Demonstrated payroll experience in a finance or payroll position.
- Strong practical experience using MYOB Acumatica.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience undertaking reconciliations and maintaining financial records.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Sound knowledge of and experience in interpreting the Live Performance Award.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
