? We’re Hiring: Financial Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior / Associate)

? Remote – Australia

? Full-Time

? Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate

We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven business decisions. This role is ideal for an early-career qualified who enjoys working with numbers, analysing financial performance, identifying trends, and turning financial data into meaningful business insights.

? Key Responsibilities

- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Analyse financial performance, revenue, costs, margins, and key business metrics
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management presentations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across different business functions
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate differences between actual and budgeted results
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analytical reports
- Analyse business trends and identify potential financial risks and opportunities
- Support cash flow analysis and financial performance monitoring
- Assist with financial planning and scenario analysis to support business decisions
- Prepare dashboards and reports using financial and operational data
- Collect, validate, and reconcile financial data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, operations, sales, marketing, and management teams
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic business projects
- Maintain accurate financial documentation, reports, and supporting schedules
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes,



reporting, and data quality
- Ensure analysis and reporting are accurate, timely, and clearly communicated

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate level, with 0–3+ years of experience
- Internships, graduate experience, academic projects, or relevant practical experience are welcome
- Degree or relevant studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field is advantageous
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic financial concepts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends and variances
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full working rights in Australia
