Exciting 12-Month Contract | Strategic Business Partnering Focus

Are you an FP&A; skilled looking for a role that offers genuine business partnering, strategic influence, and exposure to executive decision-making?

An opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join a highly regarded organisation on a 12-month contract. Working within a small and collaborative finance team, you will operate in a stand-alone capacity and partner with stakeholders across the business to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, performance reporting, and long-term planning activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond traditional management accounting and play a key role in shaping major organisational projects and strategic outcomes.

Your new role

Reporting to the Team Leader FP&A;, your responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with business leaders to support strategic programs and financial decision-making.
- Managing budgets, tracking expenditure, and providing financial insights to stakeholders.
- Supporting the development and delivery of annual budgets, forecasts, and corporate planning activities.
- Preparing month-end and quarterly performance reporting for Executive and Board audiences.
- Analysing financial performance, risks, trends, and opportunities across the organisation.
- Supporting major strategic initiatives and business transformation projects.
- Delivering financial modelling, analysis, and reporting to support investment and operational decisions.




- Building strong working relationships across the organisation to improve financial capability and commercial awareness.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience within FP&A;, commercial finance, management accounting, or financial business partnering roles.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience preparing management, executive, or board-level reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large financial systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- An ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and provide commercially focused recommendations.
