Experienced Fire Technician looking for a change?

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is a permanent full-time role offering competitive rates, company vehicle, with varied work across testing, servicing, fault finding, fire detection systems and project installations.

We’re a growing business, but our Brisbane North & Ipswich operation is family-run. You’ll work with a small, supportive team where good technicians are trusted to do their job, backed when they need help, and genuinely valued.

Key responsibilities

- Routine inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment, including fire detection systems, panels, emergency lighting and portables
- Fault finding, servicing and repairs
- Installation and commissioning of dry fire systems
- Fire detection and project work




- Testing and servicing in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaising with customers and site contacts

About you We’re ideally looking for an experienced Fire Technician with a solid background in dry fire and fire detection.

You’ll ideally have

- Experience with fire detection systems, testing, servicing and fault finding
- Good knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Relevant fire industry licences/accreditations
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and pride in your workmanship
