About the Role:

Providing fire safety advisory services and emergency management training, with an emphasis on maintaining and developing key client relationships.

Main responsibilities will include providing our clients with site specific emergency response training (Warden/First Response), facilitating evacuation exercises, developing or reviewing emergency and evacuation procedures, site surveys and inspections and evacuation diagram survey and install.

The office is based on the South Side of Brisbane with some travel to regional areas, but most of the work will be located around Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coasts. The role will come with some flexibility and autonomy, as all necessary equipment will be provided to allow for mobility and ability to work from home.

About You:

To be considered for the role, you will need or be able to demonstrate the following:

- Current Queensland open Driver’s License
- Current Fire Safety Advisor qualification in Queensland (or held one in the past 2 years)
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and QDC MP6.1
- Experience in delivering Fire Safety & Evacuation Training

Your key areas of accountability will be:

- Liaising with clients and co-workers;
- Delivery of Emergency Response Training to clients at sites;
- Oversight and delivery of Evacuation Practice exercises at client sites;




- Preparation of Emergency Response Plans and Procedures for client sites;
- Preparation and installation of Evacuation Diagrams at client sites;
- Undertaking site surveys & audits to determine fire safety compliance levels along with the identification of improvements;
- Preparation of site asset registers as required;
- Duties as requested by Management;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery;
- Reporting to management regularly on work in progress and report updates;
- Development & distribution of quotes to customers as required;
- Provision of exceptional customer service; and
- Participate as a key member of the team to aid in the growth and development of the company.

Skills and Requirements:

- Must be able to communicate effectively with field technicians, service support staff and customers.
- 38 hour working week

- Current Queensland Driver’s License

- Computer literacy
- Must be honest and reliable.
- An ability to adapt to a dynamic workplace.
- Have a friendly and approachable personality to maintain team and business cultures.
- Be dependable, reliable, accountable and team focused.
- Be a confident communicator and be able to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers.
- Have an ability to multi-task, be an effective problem solver, prioritise and handle pressure.

Employment terms:
