Safety/First Aid Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Safety/First Aid Supervisor to join our team at our Tongala processing facility on the Afternoon Shift.

This is an excellent prospect for a proactive safety professional with strong first aid capabilities, a commitment to injury prevention, and a passion for building a positive safety culture within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor workplace safety performance and assist in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and company standards.

· Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety observations.

· Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses, identifying corrective actions and preventative measures.

· Promote and drive a positive safety culture across the site.

· Liaise with supervisors, managers and employees to ensure safe work practices are maintained throughout operations.

· Deliver toolbox talks and employee training programs.

· Coordinate and manage workplace injury and incident reporting processes.

· Maintain first aid records, safety documentation and compliance registers.

· Provide immediate first aid treatment and support to employees as required.

· Support injured employees through the return-to-work process in collaboration with management and medical providers.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:





· Work Health and Safety qualifications or equivalent experience.

· Drug and Alcohol Screening certification (desirable, but not essential, training will be provided).

· Return to Work Coordinator certification (desirable, but not essential, training will be provided)

· First Aid Certificate (desirable, but not essential, training will be provided).

· Previous experience in a safety, health and wellbeing, and a first aid injury management role.

· Well-developed knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

· Strong incident investigation, risk assessment and hazard management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.

· High attention to detail with strong administrative, record-keeping and documentation skills.

· Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

· Experience within manufacturing, food processing, warehousing or industrial environments (highly regarded).
