Role Description: We are currently looking for 10-15 Flange Management, Pipe Fitters, On-Site Machinist role in a 6 month + contract, in office position based in Adelaide (Northern Area). The Role will be to perform flange management activities, including inspection, measurement, preparation, and installation of Pipework and Valves completion of all documentation to ensure correct assembly and leak-free performance of flanged joints.

Day-to-day responsibilities include operating portable machining equipment, performing on-site facing, boring and drilling operations, and working with controlled bolting tools to meet project specifications and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and client representatives, following work packs and procedures,



and maintaining accurate records of work completed. The machinist will also perform routine equipment checks, adhere to safety and quality systems, and support other mechanical integrity tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in on-site machining (e.g., flange facing, boring, drilling) and use of portable machine tools.
- Proficiency in flange management activities, including reading isometrics and P&IDs;, measuring and documenting flange conditions, and assembling joints to specification.
- Hands-on experience with controlled bolting equipment (hydraulic torque and tension tools) and understanding of bolting procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of valve servicing and basic valve operation principles; experience supporting valve inspection, repair, and testing is advantageous.
- Commitment to safety, including ability to follow site safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Machinist) or equivalent industry experience in heavy industry, oil and gas, power generation, or similar sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, including working at heights or in confined spaces where required and medically fit for such work.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with client stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts or overtime during shutdowns, and travel to project sites as required.
