Florist Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Florist Team Leader to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for a confident florist who enjoys creating beautiful floral designs while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy florist shop.

The successful candidate will have strong floristry skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the florist team during daily operations
- Create high-quality bouquets, arrangements and custom floral designs
- Manage and prioritise daily orders, deliveries and production
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain high presentation and quality standards throughout the shop
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer enquiries
- Manage flower conditioning, stock rotation and product presentation
- Minimise flower wastage and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Help train, guide and motivate junior florists and team members
- Assist with corporate, wedding and event floral orders when required
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace
- Ensure opening, closing and daily shop procedures are completed correctly

About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong professional floristry experience




- Has experience supervising or leading a team
- Is confident creating modern, commercial and premium floral designs
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities
- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Is reliable, organised and proactive
- Understands flower care, conditioning and stock management
- Can work independently and make decisions when required
- Is available to work across busy periods, including weekends and major floral occasions when required

Experience with corporate flowers, weddings and events would be highly regarded. What We Offer

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
