Gradi Fine Foods is looking for Food Production Operators to join our production team in Coburg North on a part-time basis.

This is a hands-on role working in a food production environment. You will help produce a range of products including pizza bases, dough, breads, pasta, sauces and other wholesale food products.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people who enjoy working as part of a team in a busy product workplace. Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, commercial kitchens, bakeries or similar environments will be highly regarded.

Required

- Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, commercial kitchen, bakery or similar environment is preferred.
- Experience working with food and following recipes or production processes.
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards.
- Comfortable working in a busy and physically active environment.
- Good attention to detail and consistrency.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid Australian working rights.

Salary: Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award - Level 2, plus superannuation and applicable penalties. Employment Type: Part-time.

Hours: 8-35 hours per week.

From our Coburg North production facility, our team produces a range of products used throughout our hospitality and wholesale operations, including pizza products, dough, breads, pasta, sauces and other prepared foods.

What you'll do

As a Food Production Operator, you will support different stages of the food manufacturing and production process.

Your responsibilities may include

- Preparing and processing ingredients.
- Mixing and preparing dough and other food products.
- Assisting with the production of pizza bases, pasta, breads, sauces and other products.
- Operating and assisting with food production machinery and equipment.
- Following recipes, production instructions and batch requirements.
- Checking product quality and consistency.
- Portioning, packing and labelling products where required.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
- Working with the wider production team to meet daily production requirements.

You may have experience in food production, manufacturing, a commercial kitchen, bakery, good processing or another similar environment. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.
