Reporting to the CFO, the role of the ANZ Financial Controller will be the cornerstone of our clients financial integrity and strategy during a pivotal period of expansion. This is a rare chance to take full ownership of a sophisticated finance function, mentor a talented team, all while having a direct impact on the direction of the business.

Responsibilities

- Partnering with senior management to provide sharp commercial insights that optimise margins and fuel our ambitious growth plans.
n
- Leading all accounting, tax, and control activities for our unique Australian group, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
n
- Championing adherence to all regulatory and industry standards and confidently managing the annual external audit process.
n
- Working hand-in-hand with a world-class Group Finance team in London, sharing knowledge and leveraging their extensive support and resources.
n
- Seamlessly operates between board-level strategic planning and day-to-day operational accounting, taking full ownership of financial execution and process integrity

What You'll Bring to the Team

- CA Qualified - commenced career in Big 4 external audit, delivering strong financial compliance, complex reporting, and technical accounting rigor before transitioning into commercial financial control.
n
- Deep expertise in managing global financial operations, including multi-country compliance, complex reporting, and foreign currency management
n
- The ability to operate at a high strategic level while remaining hands-on, ensuring meticulous execution of all financial processes.
n
- A track record of leading financial transformation, with a passion for standardising systems and unlocking efficiencies through automation.
n
- Exceptional stakeholder skills, with the confidence to advise, influence, and challenge leaders at every level of the business.
