Hide and Seek Digital is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team and work across a mix of government platforms, enterprise systems, private-sector digital products and agentic AI builds.

Hide and Seek Digital is a boutique Australian digital consultancy with a growing presence across Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and South East Queensland.

n

We design and build websites, apps, intranets, digital products and service platforms for organisations across government, large enterprise and growing private businesses.

n

Increasingly, our work is also moving into agentic AI - building practical AI-enabled products, workflows and internal tools that help organisations automate tasks, connect systems, surface knowledge and improve how teams work.

n

This role would suit someone who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle - from shaping technical solutions and building features, through to integrating systems, improving performance and helping clients solve real business problems.

n

Preference is for someone based in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne, ideally with an active NV1 security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

What you'll work on

n

You'll work with our designers, product leads, delivery managers and developers across projects such as:

n

- Custom web applications and digital products
n
- Government and enterprise websites
n
- SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and employee experience platforms
n
- New private-sector products and scale-up platforms
n
- Agentic AI tools, workflows and product features
n
- AI-enabled internal platforms, knowledge systems and automation layers
n




- Headless CMS builds using modern frontend frameworks
n
- Integration-heavy platforms connecting CRMs, identity systems, APIs and workflow tools
n

What we're looking for

n

We're looking for someone who can contribute across both frontend and backend engineering, including:

n

n
- Experience with React, Next.js, Vue or similar frontend frameworks
n
- Backend experience with Node.js, APIs, serverless or cloud-native application development
n
- Experience working with databases, authentication, integrations and third-party services
n
- Comfort working with AI APIs, LLMs, agents, workflow automation or RAG-style architectures
n
- Ability to think through how AI features fit into real products, not just prototypes
n
- Comfort working in agile delivery teams with designers, product people and clients
n
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
n
- A practical, problem-solving mindset
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly
n

Experience across any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Azure, AWS, Vercel or similar cloud platforms
n
- Agentic workflows, tool-calling, structured outputs, RAG, embeddings or vector databases
n
- SharePoint,



Microsoft Graph, Power Platform or Microsoft 365
n
- Drupal, Storyblok, Sanity or other CMS platforms
n
- Supabase, PostgreSQL or similar databases
n
- Auth0, Okta, Entra ID or other identity platforms
n
- NV1 security clearance

This is a full time, office-based role. We believe our best work happens when designers, developers, product people and delivery leads are working closely together - sharing context, solving problems quickly and learning from each other in real time.

While we support flexibility where it makes sense, this role is best suited to someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment and wants to be actively involved in shaping, building and improving work alongside others.
