TECHNICIAN EmployME NEWCASTLE, NSW 2300 FULL-TIME PERMANENT SALARY:
$76k to $90k per year Job Overview As an Electrical Engineering
Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the design,
installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical
systems and equipment. Your expertise will support engineering
projects and ensure that all electrical components operate
efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Electrical System Design and Installation:
Assist engineers in designing electrical systems and selecting
appropriate components based on project specifications. Install,
configure, and test electrical systems and equipment, including
wiring, circuits, and control systems. Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical
systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose
electrical faults and malfunctions and implement corrective
actions. Testing and Calibration: Conduct tests on electrical
systems and components to ensure compliance with performance
standards. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to calibrate
electrical systems and ensure accurate operation. Documentation and
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of electrical systems,
maintenance activities, and repairs. Prepare and present reports on
system performance, maintenance schedules,



and operational issues.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations
to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure that all electrical
work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and
industry regulations. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with
engineering teams to support project execution and troubleshoot
technical issues. Provide technical support and training to other
team members and clients as needed. Qualifications Education:
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a
related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in
electrical engineering or a related technical role. Skills:
Proficient in electrical system design, installation, and
maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and
safety regulations. Skilled in using electrical diagnostic and
testing equipment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
team. Robust communication skills for documentation and
collaboration. Working Conditions Work may be conducted in various
settings, including industrial environments and client locations.
Protective equipment must be worn as required to ensure safety.
Occasional travel to project sites may be required. SALARY: 76k to
90k per year
