Job Description

Our client is a Brisbane-based growing agricultural technology company in the bovine reproductive technology space, looking for an experienced Bovine Reproduction Specialist. This hands-on role involves performing Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) and Embryo Transfer (ET) procedures across commercial and research programs, working in the field and the lab.

Key responsibilities

- Perform OPU and ET procedures to a high technical and welfare standard
n
- Prepare equipment and consumables for field visits
n
- Conduct field-based lab work: embryo grading, thawing, loading, slow freezing
n
- Maintain records and report back to the lab team
n
- Manage stock and assist with equipment maintenance
n
- Support technical training and animal studies
n

What you'll bring

n
- 5+ years' experience, including commercial OPU and ET
n
- Low-stress livestock handling experience (essential)
n
- Degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
n
- Robust communication skills and attention to detail
n

- Occasional weekends, holidays, and early mornings, including on-call support
