We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers / Storemen to join a well-established Australian building products business across multiple Sydney locations.
The company is a leading supplier of building and construction products, supporting trades, builders and construction projects across Australia. They are known for their strong focus on quality products, reliable service and efficient supply to the building industry.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and physically fit Storemen / Forklift Drivers who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or yard environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking, packing and preparing orders
- Moving and storing stock around the warehouse/yard
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Preparing materials for customer and site deliveries
- Assisting with general warehouse and store duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work environment
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Manual handling and lifting of products weighing up to 15–20kg
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a storeman, warehouse or forklift driver role
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 15–20kg
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be prioritised
