THE ROLE

As FP&A; Manager, you'll own the financial planning and analysis process for our Student Living and BTR operational assets - ensuring budgeting and forecasting are accurate, consistent and timely, and acting as the key contact for all budgeting and forecasting matters across the business.

Beyond budgeting and forecasting, you'll be a genuine commercial business partner - generating insights on expenses, occupancy, room rates and revenue drivers that help the business deliver on its plans. With one direct report, you'll also lead the improvement of FP&A; processes while mentoring the Senior FP&A; accountant.

Day-to-day you will be (but not limited to):

- Leading the annual budget and reforecasting process, working closely with leadership and Business Units to build accurate forecasts
- Preparing and maintaining short and medium-term cash flow forecasts, working with Treasury on cash management and covenant monitoring
- Business partnering with operational, corporate and functional teams to translate budgets into financial outcomes and challenge assumptions
- Preparing monthly and quarterly performance analysis, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities




- Drafting quarterly management reports with detailed commentary on performance versus budget and forecast
- Supporting KPIs, dashboards and senior management presentations, and leading ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- CPA or CA qualified accountant with 7-10+ years' experience in similar roles
- Experience working in the property funds management sector preferred
- Extensive experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting, with significant exposure to FP&A; within large, complex companies
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including complex formulas, structured models and scenario analysis
- Robust experience with budgeting systems and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging constructively with non-finance and senior stakeholders
