Experienced Fruit & Veg Retail Assistant – 25–30 Hours

David Bros is a busy, family-owned premium grocery store in Brunswick, specialising in quality fresh fruit and vegetables, alongside cheeses, fresh and ready-made meals, deli and fridge products and premium grocery lines.

We’re looking for an experienced Fruit & Veg Retail Assistant to join our friendly team for approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Previous fruit & veg experience is essential for this position.

We’re looking for someone who knows fresh produce and understands quality, handling, stock rotation and presentation.

The role will include:

- Stocking, rotating and presenting fresh fruit and vegetables
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked produce displays
- Checking produce quality and freshness
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Assisting across the grocery and refrigerated sections when required
- Keeping the store clean, organised and beautifully presented

About you:





- Previous fruit & veg experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, friendly and energetic
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable with the physical side of fruit & veg retail
- Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail

Hours & roster Approximately 25–30 hours per week.

We offer flexibility with the roster and are happy to agree on regular set daysthat suit both you and the business.
