Are you an experienced fundraiser who understands that great fundraising starts with a great supporter experience?

At Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania, we’re looking for a Fundraising Lead to play a key role in strengthening our individual giving, regular giving and supporter engagement activity.

This is a hands-on role focused on supporter stewardship, fundraising appeals, regular giving, retention and supporter communications — ensuring the people who support our Mission feel valued, informed and genuinely connected to the difference they help make.

Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania supports families with seriously ill children, providing accommodation, programs and support when they need it most.

Your impact:

Reporting to the Supporter Experience & Digital Manager, you’ll help deliver a meaningful and consistent experience across individual and regular giving.

You’ll focus on

· Strengthening supporter stewardship and engagement

· Coordinating individual giving appeals and campaigns

· Supporting the day-to-day delivery and growth of our regular giving program

· Improving supporter retention, loyalty and reactivation

· Using supporter data and insights to improve fundraising activity

· Building genuine relationships with supporters and families

· Helping capture family stories that connect supporters with the impact of their contribution

This role is about more than delivering fundraising activity — it’s about creating thoughtful supporter journeys that build trust, loyalty and long-term connection.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporter Experience & Stewardship

· Deliver supporter acknowledgement and stewardship activity across individual giving

· Coordinate personalised supporter touchpoints including thank you calls, written acknowledgements and impact updates

· Manage inbound supporter enquiries across phone and email with warmth and professionalism

· Map and maintain supporter journeys, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement

· Gather supporter feedback and use it to improve the supporter experience

· Work sensitively with families to develop stories for fundraising and stewardship communications

Individual Giving, Campaigns & Retention

· Coordinate fundraising appeals end-to-end, including briefing, segmentation, scheduling, delivery and analysis

· Support direct mail and telephone fundraising activity

· Manage the day-to-day delivery of the regular giving program

· Deliver retention and growth initiatives including upgrades, reactivation, loyalty recognition and attrition mitigation





· Monitor fundraising performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities

· Coordinate campaign and supporter communications across individual giving programs

· Work with fundraising agencies and suppliers to deliver activity to scope and timeframe

Supporter Data, Insights & Reporting

· Maintain accurate supporter records and engagement information in Salesforce

· Build and manage supporter audiences and campaign segmentation

· Monitor campaign and supporter data to identify trends and opportunities

· Contribute insights to monthly fundraising reporting

· Support strong data quality across supporter records

· Use campaign results and supporter insights to continuously improve fundraising activity

Collaboration & Integrated Fundraising

· Work closely with the Supporter Experience & Digital Manager, Marketing Lead, Data Specialist and broader Fundraising & Marketing team

· Bring a supporter-first perspective to major fundraising campaigns

· Provide supporter insights and recommendations to inform campaign planning

· Work effectively with agencies, suppliers and external partners

· Contribute fundraising expertise to cross-functional projects and organisational initiatives

· Help ensure fundraising activity is coordinated, consistent and focused on the supporter experience

Who are you?

You’re an experienced fundraiser who understands both the relationship and operational sides of individual giving.

You bring

· 5 years’ experience in fundraising, supporter engagement or a related field

· Demonstrated experience in donor stewardship, individual giving and supporter engagement

· Experience coordinating fundraising appeals, including digital campaigns

· Experience managing or supporting regular giving, retention and upgrade activity

· Experience working with CRM systems for supporter management, segmentation and reporting

· Strong relationship management and supporter service skills

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication

· Confidence interpreting supporter and campaign data to identify opportunities

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

· The emotional intelligence and judgement to engage sensitively with families and supporters

· A proactive, organised and team-oriented approach A tertiary qualification in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is required.

Experience in the not-for-profit or community sector, Salesforce, direct mail or telephone fundraising is valued,



but not essential.
