About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced gardener or landscaper who is confident supervising staff, organising daily workloads and taking responsibility for ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful applicant will be expected to lead by example, work alongside the team and help ensure our gardening and landscaping operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise gardening and landscaping crews
- Ensure crews are prepared with the correct tools, equipment and materials before leaving for site
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members
- Assist with training and development of staff
- Monitor productivity, workmanship and time management
- Communicate job progress, issues and requirements to management
- Lawn maintenance, mowing and edging
- Plant care, pruning, shaping and hedging
- Weed identification and control




- Seasonal gardening and property clean-ups

About you

- Previous gardening, landscaping or horticultural experience – experienced applicants only
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Confidence and experience towing trailers
- Current Police Check or ability to obtain one
- Current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
- Solid knowledge of gardening practices, plants and landscape maintenance
- Experience operating gardening and landscaping machinery
- Good mechanical understanding of tools and equipment
- Irrigation knowledge and basic troubleshooting ability
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
