As Ksubi continues to grow globally, we’re looking for an experienced Garment Technician to join our Product team and help ensure every Ksubi product delivers on fit, construction and quality.
Working across Men’s, Women’s and Kids, you’ll own the technical integrity of product from initial handover through sampling, fitting and production. You’ll work closely with Design, Product Development, Production and our supplier network to maintain consistency, identify issues early and ensure product is commercially fit for purpose without compromising the Ksubi aesthetic.
What You'll Do
- Create accurate technical specifications covering garment construction, measurements, fit details and workmanship requirements
- Own fit and technical standards across Men’s, Women’s and Kids product, ensuring consistency across categories
- Lead and attend fit sessions, accurately documenting comments and providing technical solutions to improve fit, construction and quality
- Review patterns, grading, garment construction, washes and finishes, identifying potential issues before and throughout the sampling process
- Work closely with Design, Product Development and Production to deliver product in line with critical path timelines
- Review samples throughout development and provide clear, commercially considered technical feedback to suppliers
- Identify and resolve recurring fit, construction and quality issues with suppliers
- Maintain consistency across fit, measurements, colour, wash, fabric performance and overall garment quality
- Provide technical guidance on garment fit, construction, fabrics and manufacturing from handover through to shipping samples
- Ensure technical comments,
specifications and approvals are clear, accurate and communicated effectively across internal teams and external suppliers
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve fit, quality, consistency and technical processes as the business grows
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience as a Garment Technician, Garment Technologist or similar role within fashion, retail or wholesale
- Kidswear experience is a huge plus
- Qualification in Fashion, Garment Technology, Patternmaking or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading and fit
- Experience working across the end-to-end product development and commercial production process
- Solid understanding of textiles, fabric performance, washes and finishes
- Confidence managing fit sessions and translating fit feedback into clear, actionable technical comments
- Experience working directly with offshore suppliers and manufacturers
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for product quality and consistency
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple styles and critical path deadlines
- A collaborative approach and confidence working cross-functionally with Design, Product Development and Production
